Experienced NYC doula services  Manhattan - Brooklyn - Queens

I'm an NYC-based doula. Previously, I graduated from Tulane University with degrees in Psychology and Political Science.  I worked for 9 years as a campaign director coaching activists and organizers to find the courage and will to run challenging environmental, human rights, and electoral campaigns.  During this time, I also supported my sister through both of her natural births at the Brooklyn Birthing Center. Being with and backing her up during that demanding and awe-inspiring moment left me with a deep respect for women, our bodies, and the miracles the universe can provide us with after hard work.  Those beautiful babies are what brought me to New York City and those experiences are the reason I got certified as a doula.  Today I support families with natural and medicated births in NYC hospitals, birthing centers and homes.  I also work to transition families into their new home lives postpartum with a special attention to breastfeeding support.  

I speak English and Spanish and can assist families in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx and Hoboken, NJ.
